I asked some of my friends about their favorite movies that they will recommend so they gave some of the all-time famous and popular names, their opinions and the reason behind their choices.
1. Warm Bodies: “He’s zombie and with love, he becomes human again. I liked it because it shows the true meaning of humanity and how much it’s effective.”
2.Insurgent: “Theo
James is awesome!!”
3. Becoming Jane:
“It’s dramatic and romantic. It’s a really amazing movie.”
4. Godfather:
“Godfather is awesome, it shows that family is always more important and that
acting before thinking is not that good. It also shows that it doesn't always
go as we planned since Michael was the “cleanest” of his brothers and he joined
the army rather than working for the family mafia but he ended up the head of
the family mafia after his father. It’s also regarded as one of the greatest
movies in film history with phenomenal actors like Marlon Brando and Al Pacino
, a great director (Francis Ford Capella) and also great music.”
5. The Hunger
Games: “The idea of love and sacrifice in it is nice”. Hugo: “It
symbolizes the will of making a difference in life.”
6. Pride and
Prejudice: “It teaches that one shouldn't judge people based on gossip and
people’s sayings.”
7. The Last
Samurai: “It reminds me of the old, simple life and yet reflects the
complexity, peace, a kind of purity and courage.”
8. Beastly: “It was so hard for me to nail down my
choices. Because I've watched so many movies in my life but my favorite movies
are 8 but I need to talk about one only so I chose Beastly as my favorite of
favorites .I've watched this movie so many times and I really like it each
time. A story about how love became insignificant nowadays and people don’t
care anymore about traditional
romance and the true meaning love which is loving someone because of what they
are really like, loving them for their personalities and souls. It is a really
romantic movie and I liked Lindey’s personality (played by Vanessa Hudgens)
.Though what I didn't like about the movie is that at the end this guy turns
back to being good looking, I just really liked him more when he was under the
spell, and if this movie shows us that beauty is not in the way we look then why
did they care to turn him back to being like he was?
